Shark Cage Diving Tours
Join us for a trip to Gansbaai, known as the Great White Shark capital of the world!
The channel between Dyer Island and Geyser rock off Gansbaai is popularly referred to as “Shark Alley”. Dyer Island is known as one of only two unique areas in the world, where the chances of viewing the great white shark become exceptionally high. Other wildlife species such as Cape Fur Seals, Cape Gannets, Cape Cormorants, Jackass penguins, southern right whales and dolphins are also likely to be sighted.
We will transport you to Gansbaai, where the boat depart after breakfast or lunch and a safety briefing, for the 5 mile voyage to Dyer Island. Sometimes the water will be extremely rough or far too murky to use the cage; viewing from the boat is still an awesome experience, with excellent photo opportunities. The cage is of the floating-variety and is custom-made with 12mm galvanized steel mesh. No experience is required if you want to go down in the cage.
Sharks are seen 99.9% of our trips, however all trips are weather dependent.
